Fundraising efforts for The Harrow Health Centre, a Family Health Team officially kicked off on June 10, 2006. An opening event was held at Robinson Transport in conjunction with their annual recognition barbeque. Mr. Barry Zekelman pledged a cornerstone donation of $250,000 to begin our drive. By the end of that day $762,000 in total had been promised to make our community's dream a reality. Since then the response from businesses, service clubs and individuals has been very encouraging. "We have topped one million dollars" Larry Pollard, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, announced at Christmas. "Our new building is well underway. The incredible weather over the last 6 weeks has allowed the contractor to make major progress."
